About Bennett Adkins
Bennett Adkins has been a lifelong horse enthusiast and has pursued her passion for horses since a young age. Graduating with an Equine Science and Management degree at the University of Kentucky, the passion developed into a career. Her degree gave her solid foundation in understanding the intricacies of equine physiology, behavior, and management.
Bennett takes pride in years of experience as a horse trainer, where she has successfully worked with a diverse range of horses. From developing young horses to refining the skills of seasoned equine athletes, her training methods focus on establishing a strong foundation built on trust, respect, and effective communication between horse and rider.
Bennett has a particular interest in off the track thoroughbreds, often restarting OTTBs and rehoming/training them as quality, competitive sport horses through all stages beginning straight off the track to upper level competitions. As a dedicated rider, she regularly takes lessons/clinics to improve her skills and has worked with upper level dressage and event riders including Lucinda Green, Sinead Halpin, Kim Walnes, Reese Koffler-Stanfield, Peter Atkins, Dorothy Crowell, Tom Poulin, Conrad Schumacher, Clark Montgomery, Lillian Heard, Alexa Thompson and more.
